Outlook 97

To configure your Outlook 97 software with your Fire2wire e-mail account, do the following:

1. Start Outlook 97.

• Click on the "Tools" menu.
• Click on "Services..."

  

2. Services

• Select "Internet Mail."
• Click on "Properties."

  

3. General

• Type in your full name in the "Full Name:" field.
• Type in your e-mail address in "E-mail address:" field.
• Type in mail.fire2wire.com in the "Internet mail server:" field.
• Type in your username (login ID) in all lower case letters to the right of "Account name:" field.
• Type in your password in the correct case to the right of "Password:" field.

  

4. Advanced Settings

• Click on "Advanced Settings."
• Type in mail.fire2wire.com in the "Forward all outgoing mail..." field.
• Click "OK."

  

5. Connection

• Click on the "Connection" tab.
• Select "Connect using the modem."
• Select "Fire2wire" for "Dial using the following connection:" If you don't have this, select the name of your dial-up connection.
• Click on "OK."

  

6. Configuration Completed

• Click "OK."
