To setup Internet Mail to be used with Fire2wire e-mail, do the following:
1. Start Internet Mail
Double-clicking the icon usually works.
2. Internet Mail Options
Click on "Mail."
Click "Options..."
3. Server Options
Click on the "Server" tab.
Type in your name in the "Name:" field.
Type in your e-mail address in all lowercase letters in the "Email Address:" field.
Type in mail.fire2wire.com in the "Outgoing Mail (SMTP):" field.
Type in mail.fire2wire.com in the "Incoming Mail (POP3):" field.
Select "Logon using:"
Type in your username (login ID) in all lowercase letters in the "Account Name:" field.
Type in your password in the correct case in the "Password:" field.
4. Connection Options
Click on the "Connection" tab.
Select "I use a modem to access my e-mail."
Select "Fire2wire" for "Use the following Dial-Up Networking Connection:" If you don't have "Fire2wire" listed, select the name of your dial-up networking connection.
