To configure your Eudora Light software with your Fire2wire e-mail account, do the following:
1. Start Eudora Light.
Click on the "Tools" menu.
Click on "Options..."
2. Getting Started.
Click on "Getting Started."
Type in your username@mail.fire2wire.com in all lower case letters in the "POP account:" field.
Type in your full name in the "Real name:" field.
3. Personal Information.
Click on "Personal Information."
The "POP account" and "Real Name" information should already be entered in the appropriate boxes. If there is something incorrect there, make sure to correct it now.
Enter in your return address in the "Return Address" field.
e.g. johndoe@fire2wire.com
4. Hosts.
Click on "Hosts" from the left menu.
Check to make sure that your "POP account" information is correct.
Enter in mail.fire2wire.com in the "SMTP Server" field.
5. Checking Mail.
Click on "Checking Mail" from the left menu.
Make sure that your "POP account" is entered in correctly.
Change any options that you would like to have changed at this time. You may always choose to change your options at any time.
6. Sending Mail.
Click on "Sending Mail" from the left menu.
Check and see that your "Return address and the SMTP server" is entered in correctly.
Also, select any of the options that you would like to be use for your e-mail. You may choose to change these at any time.
