Eudora Light Setup

To configure your Eudora Light software with your Fire2wire e-mail account, do the following:

1. Start Eudora Light.

  • Click on the "Tools" menu.
  • Click on "Options..."

2. Getting Started.

  • Click on "Getting Started."
  • Type in your username@mail.fire2wire.com in all lower case letters in the "POP account:" field.
  • Type in your full name in the "Real name:" field.

3. Personal Information.

  • Click on "Personal Information."
  • The "POP account" and "Real Name" information should already be entered in the appropriate boxes. If there is something incorrect there, make sure to correct it now.
  • Enter in your return address in the "Return Address" field.
    • e.g. johndoe@fire2wire.com

4. Hosts.

  • Click on "Hosts" from the left menu.
  • Check to make sure that your "POP account" information is correct.
  • Enter in mail.fire2wire.com in the "SMTP Server" field.

5. Checking Mail.

  • Click on "Checking Mail" from the left menu.
  • Make sure that your "POP account" is entered in correctly.
  • Change any options that you would like to have changed at this time. You may always choose to change your options at any time.

6. Sending Mail.

  • Click on "Sending Mail" from the left menu.
  • Check and see that your "Return address and the SMTP server" is entered in correctly.
  • Also, select any of the options that you would like to be use for your e-mail. You may choose to change these at any time.
